Information We Do Not Collect

The Walkup Music DJ app does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal data. The website may use optional analytics only if you opt in via the cookie banner.

Microphone Access

The app requests microphone access only to allow users to record live announcements or custom audio intros. Audio is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted off-device. The app clearly indicates when the microphone is active.

Apple Music Access

If you choose to connect Apple Music, Walkup Music DJ uses Apple’s MusicKit framework to search for music and play user-selected tracks. We do not receive your Apple Music account details, listening history, playlists, or subscription status. Apple Music interactions are handled directly by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy policies and account settings.

Local Media

You may optionally use audio files stored locally on your device. These files remain on your device and are not uploaded or accessed by us.

Internet Access

An internet connection is required only when using Apple Music features. The app does not communicate with our servers or upload personal data.

Children’s Privacy

Walkup Music DJ does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app contains no accounts, messaging, advertising, or social features.

Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website may use Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve pages. Analytics cookies are optional and are only used if you opt in via the cookie banner. If enabled, we configure analytics with IP anonymization where supported and do not use it for advertising personalization.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Apple Music functionality is provided through Apple’s MusicKit framework and is subject to Apple’s own privacy policies. The website may use Google Analytics only if you opt in, as described above.
